Leading our organization is Argenis Gomez, Founder and CEO of Self Direction Pros. With over 18 years of experience in leadership, operations, and person-centered care, Argenis brings both professional expertise and a deep personal commitment to helping individuals with disabilities reach their goals.
Before founding Self Direction Pros, Argenis built a strong career managing complex systems and supporting community programs across healthcare and homecare industries. His background includes years as a Community Habilitation Specialist at Meaningful NY, where he worked directly with individuals with developmental disabilities—creating personalized care plans, fostering life skills, and supporting families with compassion and respect.
Argenis’s experience extends beyond direct care. As a Supply Chain and Purchasing Manager overseeing 19 homecare locations across multiple states, he developed skills in organization, accountability, and problem-solving—qualities that now define his leadership at Self Direction Pros. His ability to build strong relationships, communicate clearly, and resolve challenges effectively ensures that each individual and family receives the highest level of support.
